Using specialised moulds, design and a process that has been perfected over years of testing and
development, we are able to construct pre-fabricated beams that are ready for installation on-site in just 7 days.
Through using Y16 & R8 reinforcing steel bars that are welded together at the T break-ins and cross
sections, a solid raft structure is produced. The concrete achieves 65MPa strength in only 28 days. This
innovative system ensures optimal structural strength and reinforcement at a lower cost and in a fraction
of the time that other solutions require.
Bently Beams has developed a method for constructing slabs spanning up to 8m without the use of
propping or framework. The solution is based on a one-of-a-kind beam design that is lightweight, easy to
install, and fast. Cranes are not required for the installation process.
The beams are installed at 620mm intervals, with void fillers made of standard molded polystren blocks.
These blocks insulate both thermally and acoustically.
A 5.5mm, 100mm Wire mesh grid is secured over this structure, and a 60mm thick concrete slab is cast
directly onto this base to form a monolithic structure with a 25MPa cube strength in 28 days and
accessibility in 12 -18 hours.
